People always ask me how I got into real estate. Truth be told, I caught real estate. I always thought my dream was to jet-set around the world as a problem-fixer. You may have seen this person in movies – they come in to fix whatever media debacle is thrown their way. It seemed like an appropriate dream given my inherent need to constantly fix everyone’s problems. 

And that’s when it happened; the spark ignited the instant my husband and I were purchasing our first investment property. Going through the experience, I thought to myself.. "I could do this!" With my professional background, things like numbers, mortgages, and investments were my forte. Makes sense because I also studied Finance in post-secondary school. Armed with financial literacy and the desire to solve problems, I embarked on my journey to become a real estate agent. Six months later I was fully licensed and facilitated the purchase of our second investment property.

I believe one of the main reasons a real estate agent is hired is for their negotiation and persuasion skills. This is exactly why I acquired my negotiation certification (CNE®). This allows me to use my skills to negotiate better outcomes for you. As a  full-time Real Estate Broker, homeowner, investor, landlord, wife, and mom I can step into my client’s shoes and be a trusted and valuable resource for them. It’s powerful to connect with people over things that make us human, vulnerable, and imperfect. Whatever phase of life you might be in I’ve likely personally been there and have a unique approach tailored just for you.
